Vancouver is getting a new snow tubing park this winter

Nov 14 2018, 2:03 am

Vancouver is about to get a 30-foot tall and 200-foot long tubing park.

As part of the recently announced Aurora Winter Festival, the five-week holiday extravaganza will transform Vancouver’s Concord Pacific Place – from November 23 to December 30 – into a hidden village with enchanting elements inspired by the North Pole, including magical characters, captivating light displays, endless fun, games and activities.

As part of the activities, the tube park will include a large 200-ft slide with artificial snow.

And beyond tubing tubing your heart out, festival goers will also be able to lace up their skates and take to the beautiful frozen river, with twists and turns through a magical light installation.

Visitors will have to pay an additional fee for the tube park. Ticket prices are as follows (prices include tax):

  • 1 ride – $4
  • 3 rides – $10
  • 8 rides – $20

There will also be a selection of rides for all ages on site including a Ferris wheel, carousel, and train.

While the tubing park may be temporary as part of the Festival, hopefully, it will return next winter!
