A mixture of snow, slush, and rain is causing havoc in Metro Vancouver on Monday morning.
The weather has made for treacherous conditions for commuters, causing transit delays and power outages across the region. The snowfall has also forced SFU, UBC, and BCIT to close their campuses to students.
UBC has already cancelled exams that were scheduled for 8:30 am this morning due to poor travelling conditions at its Point Grey campus. In a statement released via the University’s website the institution said that those exams would be rescheduled for January.
