When I talk about The Hills, I am normally referring to the store in Kerrisdale. When Money J Skeets talks about The Hills he is talking about the show that he watches religiously on MTV. Egregious. Anyways, the majority of my small business profiles have been scattered around the downtown core with Zulu being the exception. However, this time at the request of a reader I ventured south, to 41st avenue to do a feature on Hills of Kerrisdale.
Located in Kerrisdale, this long standing department store is a great place for quality mens and womens clothing. It is probably one of the larger stores along the Kerrisdale Shopping district.
This store has been around since 1914 and has a great selection of clothes that you will not find as easily elsewhere. I’m sure you could hunt for them downtown but at The Hills you can find it very easily, that is one of the appeals of the store. The store is of significant size and most of the products are displayed well, which is not something you can say about some stores.
Some of the brands you’ll find are Ben Sherman, Fred Perry, G-Star, Juicy Couture and True Religion. They got brands and styles for the young and the young at heart. They also have some clothes for older folk as well. The staff is very helpful and friendly in your attempt to find the right pair of jeans or tee. As of right now they are working on their website and online shopping will be a component of it. If you are ever in Kerrisdale or have never been, go pay this store a visit, you will be amazed at the selection and price points.
