Highway 99 just can’t seem to catch a break these days. Tuesday afternoon police were involved in a slow speed chase that ended with a crash and an arrest on the Southbound side of Highway 99 south of the Massey Tunnel.
Reports indicate the pursuit may have begun on the northbound side, and involved a suspect who may have stolen the vehicle from his parents.

While the suspect did indeed take his parents’ car without permission, he isn’t a minor, as earlier reports indicate. Delta Police clear it up, and win the day not only in apprehending the suspect without injury to anyone involved, but also with their tweet:
Contrary to initial rpts, the "child" in custody was born in 1975… But yes, he was in parents' car. He's now having a sleepover with us.
