Sep 10 2020, 4:54 am

UPDATE at 11:50 pm: Regular service has resumed.

ORIGINAL STORY:

SkyTrain’s Expo Line is experiencing major service disruptions late this evening due to a medical emergency.

TransLink says all three platforms of the Expo Line at Commercial-Broadway Station are closed. Trains on the Expo Line are not stopping at Commercial-Broadway Station; passengers on the Expo Line cannot board or disembark at this station.

At the moment, all eastbound trains on the Expo Line will terminate at King George. Passengers for Production Way-University Station on the Expo Line must transfer at Columbia Station.

There is a bus bridge shuttle in place to connect passengers travelling between Main Street-Science World Station, Commercial-Broadway Station, and Nanaimo Station.

Commercial-Broadway Station’s two lower platforms for the Millennium Line remain open and are unaffected.

The service disruptions began shortly after 8:30 pm. There is no indication when regular service will resume.
