Skechers spotlights two new products designed for everything from lounging to long runs
Beautiful summer weather has arrived in Vancouver, and it’s the perfect time to take advantage of all the sunshine by getting active outside with the help of Skechers.

We had an opportunity to try the lifestyle and performance shoes at a recent immersive event in Vancouver, and putting them to the test showed us that Skechers is ready to support our feet wherever we go.

“We have a very loyal fan base who are used to Skechers for their everyday shoes, but we’ve recently moved into the performance side of things to support our customers on their health and fitness journey,” said Cris Alcantara, Senior Marketing Manager for Skechers Canada, at the event at Fairmont Pacific Rim.
“Culture in general is more health-conscious and more active. It’s no longer about getting fit; it’s about staying fit.”
Cozy Fit for the feet

Skechers sent a pair of the Cozy Fit Slip-ins to test out before the special event, and wearing them felt like a dream on the feet.
The shoes come in a variety of colours and are made with premium soft quilted materials. Of course, wearing the shoes was a breeze as our feet slipped right in with the “No Tie Fit”.
The Contour Foam super lightweight midsole and heel pillow adapts to each foot’s unique shape, helping to soften every step you take.
We kept the Slip-Ins Cozy Fit shoes on as we attended the Morning of Movement and Cozy Reset.
The event featured complimentary body scans, rejuvenating massages, compression boots, and a chance to network with some of Vancouver’s leading fitness influencers.
It also allowed guests to take Skechers’ Performance line for a test drive with an exclusive Strength and Sculpt session led by local fitness instructor Carolyn Chueng.
Aero Burst of energy

A high-intensity sculpt workout is sure to put our feet through the paces, so everyone changed into their Skechers AERO Burst shoes. It was so easy because they also feature the convenience of Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins technology. I just stepped out of one pair and into the next.
The AERO Burst offers premium cushioned comfort for the daily runner. The lace-up breathable mesh material combines perfectly with Skechers’ removable Arch Fit insole system and a durable Goodyear Performance Outsole.
Post-workout thoughts

Cheung put us through an invigorating workout session, with lunges, leg lifts, crawls and squat hops.
But even through some of the more challenging move sets, the AERO Burst made sure that we felt balanced and grounded.
“I really like the shoes for all the cardio moves we did,” said the instructor. “It was really comfortable and supportive.”
Other participants echoed Cheung’s thoughts and gave the Skechers’ shoes an A+ grade.
“It feels like I’m walking on clouds,” said Eleni. “They’re very supportive, and I feel like I could run forever.”
“They are super comfortable and lightweight,” added Abdullah. “During the workout, it felt like they didn’t need to be broken in. I’m excited to try a few runs in them.”
