FEATURED EVENTS IN VANCOUVER
A Future for Memory: Art and Life After the Great East Japan Earthquake, February 11 to September 5, 2021
Vancouver’s DJ community members are coming together to host one of the biggest parties of the year – Shut The City Down.
Taking place at the Imperial on Main Street on Tuesday, August 29, it’s set to be the biggest two-room party that the city has to offer.
Events like this only happen once a year, so you really don’t want to miss it.
You’ll find DJs, emcees, comedians, and artists, all in one place to celebrate Vancouver’s music culture and creativity. This means you can explore and enjoy different genres of music all under the one roof.
Whether you’re an up-and-coming DJ in the industry, or just want to end your summer off with a bang, Shut The City Down will be the place to go.
Expect to hear amazing EDM, hip hop, trap, R&B, bachata, merengue, dancehall, afrobeats, and much more. There will also be live performances courtesy of young talented Vancouverites, too.
Some of the artists confirmed to perform include:
- Abel Bacchanal
- Dizzy Dluz
- D Kay
- Faction Sound
