Mt Seymour and Granville Island Brewery are pleased to announce that Shred for the Cure is back for another year. The popular Monday night fundraiser for the BC Cancer Foundation is now its seventh year and has so far raised over $79,000.
Ladies can board or ski at Mt Seymour every Monday night from January 7 to March 11, 2013, excluding February 11 Free. All the proceeds from Shred for the Cure go directly to the BC Cancer Foundation and Mt Seymour are hoping to achieve their $100,000 donation target this year.
For 2013, Shred for the Cure now runs from 5pm to 10pm, an extra hour on previous years, to allow people to make the most of this charity event. Ladies can pick up a Shred for the Cure voucher at participating retailers, bring the voucher to the Shred for the Cure night and it will be exchanged for a complimentary lift ticket once a donation to the BC Cancer Foundation is made.
Those attending Shred for the Cure will be able to enjoy live DJ/music at the top of Lodge, experience ladies only park jams in The Pit terrain park and join in the Après Ski in the Rockchute at 9pm where there will be great prizes to win
