A stolen BMW was found burning in Abbotsford on Monday, after a man called 911 to report his Black Audi had been shot at by a similar car.

According to a release from Abbotsford Police Department, the man is in his 40s and not previously known by police.

He had been driving southbound on Bradner Road when he heard gunshots from a vehicle beside him. He was not injured, but his black Audi was struck by bullets.

The release said a car matching the description of the vehicle that the gunshots came from was later found burning on Nathan Avenue.

“That vehicle matches the general description of the suspect vehicle and is a confirmed stolen BMW from Surrey,” the release said.
