Man checks himself into hospital after getting shot in Delta

Mar 27 2017, 11:49 pm

Delta Police (DPD) are investigating after a man checked himself into hospital after being shot, early Sunday morning.

Shortly before 6 am, after being notified by Surrey RCMP of the incident, DPD officers made their way to the 11800 block of 88 Avenue, where the incident occurred.

Investigators determined the shooting itself took place at approximately 5 am and that the two individuals involved knew each other.

The victim, a 35-year old man, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Police added that this “appears to be an isolated incident” and that neither party involved is cooperating with police in the investigation.

Now, the DPD is asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything related to this incident to call them at 604 946 4411.
