Shiamak is holding FREE Bollywood dance workshops at the Vancouver Art Gallery this weekend

Bollywood dance company Shiamak Vancouver is putting on a four-hour multicultural dance event this weekend for International Dance Day, and is inviting the public to come celebrate ‘the joy of dance.’

‘Vancouver Celebrates Dance’ is a free event being hosted by Shiamak Vancouver in partnership with some of Vancouver’s leading dance organizations at Vancouver Art Gallery, North Plaza on April 21, 2019 from 3 to 7 pm.

The free public event will include workshops by Harbour Dance
Centre, North Shore Academy of Dancing, South Asian Arts, and Shiamak Vancouver.

The Shiamak Vancouver dance team will also be putting on high-energy Bollywood performances, and audience members can expect to see some great performances by other independent dancers and dance groups.

The event will end with a massive dance party with music by a DJ from High Voltage Roadshow.
