Why you should take love-filled snaps on West 4th + share them throughout February

Jan 31 2018, 2:15 am

The merchants of West 4th Avenue are always flirting with fun and we’re in love with what they are up to for the whole month of February.

Starting this week, you can spread love throughout the Kitsilano shopping district with the hashtag #LOVEonWEST4th.

For every photo you tag with a friend or share using the hashtag #LOVEonWEST4th, the merchants will donate $1 to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

The Kitsilano Business Association has proudly partnered with local company Big Love Ball and the Heart and Stroke Foundation to spread the message of love and raise money. More than 200 businesses along West 4th will open their doors and hearts in the name of love.

Every business will have their own Big Love Ball on display for the month of February and encourage visitors to get nice and close to snap a picture. Along with the hard-to-ignore Big Love Ball displays, there will be some cheeky and fun sidewalk decals on every corner between Fir and Balsam on West 4th Avenue encouraging some platonic hugging, PDA, or snapped messages sent with love.

It’s your chance to spread the message of love and raise money for a great cause this February on West 4th!
