Restaurant Bite: Shangri-La to host 1,001 Nights this winter

Upon wandering into Xi Shi Lounge this winter, don’t be alarmed to find this Asian-themed lounge transformed into something a bit more Middle Eastern. From November 26, 2013 to January 5, 2014, Shangri-La’s Xi Shi Lounge will be transformed into 1,001 Nights. 

You can expect a temporary overhaul of the menu, too. You’ll find traditional Lebanese mezze, with even an afternoon tea tower full of Middle Eastern flavours and sweet treats. Guests can sip traditional Turkish coffee, Moroccan tea, or spice it up with exotic cocktails.

Live entertainment will range from traditional sitar and oud players during the week, to a Middle Eastern jazz fusion band and belly dancers on the weekends.
