His 2000 album Hot Shot was certified 6x Platinum in the US, and on September 16, Shaggy fans can see him up close and personal when he performs at the Commodore Ballroom.

Best known for such hits as “It Wasn’t Me,” “Mr. Boombastic,” and “Angel,” Shaggy, whose real name is Orville Richard Burrell, launched a new label, Ranch Entertainment, Inc. in 2012.

The reggae fusion label, headquartered in New York and Jamaica, was formed with the premise to develop and facilitate innovative approaches for up and coming artists to excel in the current market and provide established artists with opportunities outside their usual channels.

Tickets for the artist’s 19-plus show in Vancouver are $37.50 and go on sale this Friday, June 2 at 10 am, with pre-sale tickets being made available a day before on May 30.
