SFU's kitten therapy to help students destress

Nov 29 2016, 8:16 am

First puppies, now kittens.

Yes, in an effort to combat the end of semester stress that students are currently facing, SFU’s Health and Counselling Services is teaming up with Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association (VOKRA) for a special event this week.

On Wednesday, November 30 students can take a break, relax, and meet a few new furry friends at the same time.

Taking place at the SFU Burnaby Campus, the cute kitties will be on hand from noon to 2 pm when hundreds of students, faculty, and staff are expected to stop by for feline therapy.

All of the kittens are currently available for adoption and SFU and VOKRA are hoping their audition will lead to them finding forever homes in time for the festive season.
