FEATURED ON THE LISTED GUIDE
The fourth season of the SFU Fashion Week is hitting Metro Vancouver this week, from March 29–31.
Local fashion will be showcased over three days this week. Day one will take place at the Surrey SFU campus before the action moves to the Burnaby campus for day two, and then finally ending in Surrey for its final day.

The choice to hold the final day of the event in Surrey was spurred by the young city’s diversity, and how important that characteristic is to organizers of the event.
Yzobel Biron, the creative director of the fourth season, explained how Surrey is a fitting location for the Fashion Week.
“It makes sense to hold a diversity-themed production in a growing community,” Biron said in a press release. “I’m tired of reading of divisive rhetoric from older generations. Fashion, as a platform, can bring people together.”
The event will be host to many Canadian brands, including Aphroditie, Africstyle, Cenchini, Lavish Streetwear, VNCVR clothing, Frontrvnners, SlavicPassion and SFU’s Spirit Shop.
Chantz Clothing will be headlining the lineup, and attendees can expect to see hair and make up from Blanche Macdonald, and performances from SFU musicians King H and Dkay.
