9 of the sexiest world leaders

Dec 20 2017, 2:05 am

Last night, the Liberal Party won a majority in a landslide victory, ousting the Conservatives. It was an historic moment for Canada.

But people seemed to notice something about our new Prime Minister – primarily his square jaw, boyish grin, dimples and kind eyes; which is something of a departure from the icy cold gaze of Stephen Harper.

But he’s not the only poltician whose good looks have caught the fancy of people around the world. We’ve compiled a list of sexy world leaders who may or may not have good policies, but will make your heart melt either way.

Justin Trudeau – Prime Minister of Canada

Enrique Pena Nieto – President of Mexico

While he’s not known for being the most slick talker, who can ignore Nieto’s classic tall, dark and handsome looks? He’s been president of Mexico since 2012, as well as the president of our hearts.

Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck – King of Bhutan

With kind eyes, full lips and a thick head of hair, who wouldn’t be captivated by Wangchuck’s looks? The fact that he’s the reigning monarch of a nation doesn’t hurt either.

Felipe VI – King of Spain

With a lovely salt-and-pepper beard and a piercing gaze, he ascended the throne in 2014 after his father abdicated. We love a man who’s not afraid to wear a purple tie.

Rosen Plevneliev – President of Bulgaria

Hello handsome. The 51-year-old has been president of Bulgaria since 2012. He was subject to some tax controversies, but, frankly, he can tax us anytime.

Barack Obama – POTUS

God bless America. Barack Obama is irrefutably one of the most handsome world leaders today. Take one look at his toothy grin and prepare to be infatuated.

Borut Pahor – President of Slovenia

Those eyes. Piercing blue, straight into our souls. He’s been the Prime Minister of Slovenia since 2012 and the new office crush at Vancity Buzz since, well, right now.

Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner – President of Argentina

On top of being a beautiful woman, she’s pretty bad-ass as well – she’s the second female president in Argentina, the first elected female president and the first re-elected female president. What a catch.

Pedro Passos Coelho – Prime Minister of Portugal

That red tie is red-hot. Coelho has been Prime Minister of Portugal since 2011 and has been stealing hearts ever since. Just looking at those bedroom eyes.
