The defending champs defied their critics this season, posting the third-best record in the NBA, with 46 wins and 18 losses. Remarkably, their .719 winning percentage is ahead of last season (.707), despite losing Kawhi Leonard over the summer.
The Raptors have proven that they were much more than a one-man team, helped by the emergence of players like Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, Norman Powell, and OG Anunoby — who are all enjoying career-best years.
Those four players, along with veterans Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka, sat down for a candid interview with Slam, and the results were outstanding.
Players joked with each other while answering quirky questions about their teammates. But the most hilariously heartwarming moment came when Ibaka decided to shout out his teammates, one by one, as only he can.
The rest of the guys couldn’t stop laughing.
