It’s not just luxury cars that can be the culprits of excessive speeding in the Lower Mainland.
That’s the message from Ridge Meadows RCMP after the driver of semi-truck was caught and fined for “excessive” speeding in a Maple Ridge construction zone.
“Any car can be driven dangerously fast,” police tweeted on Friday.
In this particular case, the semi driver was doing 90 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.
As a result, the vehicle has been impounded for seven days and the driver is facing fines.
Remember when we posted about the high-end super cars being impounded for excessive speed? Remember a couple weeks after that it was a Honda Civic? This time its a Semi-Truck pulling a trailer. Any car can be driven dangerously fast! @icbc pic.twitter.com/LbZUhXsS21
