Sea to Sky Highway closed in both directions due to collision

Commuters travelling on the Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99) this evening should expect “major delays”  due to an accident.

Squamish RCMP say emergency personnel are currently on scene near Porteau Cove, and both north and southbound lanes of Highway 99 are closed at the moment.

Police say it is “unknown when the highway will open.”
