Vancouver 2010 Piece of the Podium Contest

Team Canada’s Captain Scott Niedermayer will be at The Bay, Granville Street, today from 4:45pm- 5:00pm to pay tribute to the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games and launch the Piece of the Podium program. The Bay will be selling pieces of the Official Olympic Podium in commemoration of the one-year anniversary. The wood pieces being sold are hand crafted stone shaped and will come from select 2010 Games podiums. Net proceeds from the iconic keepsakes will go towards the Canadian Olympic Team. A total of 20,100 souvenirs will be sold on thebay.com, and The Bay Downtown in Vancouver and Toronto, retailing for $39.99.
