The video was captured by West Vancouver’s Alterna Films using a gyro-stabilized Cineflex HD camera system attached to the bottom side of a helicopter. With amazing direction, the high-tech camera system provides rock solid aerials and brilliant imagery.
The Cineflex was also used for filming the BBC’s Planet Earth series, the footage for the recently opened FlyOver Canada attraction, and the “Fire on the Mountain” video for the welcome segment of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games Opening Ceremony.
Alterna Films’ video showcases much of the best of the province’s South Coast before ending with a Vancouver finale.
