'Say Hi To A Stranger' Campaign

With the rising hype that surrounds the ‘Say Hi to A Stranger’ campaign, the team behind this movement brought it up a notch with the Vancouver-wide campaign that occurred one fine November weekend.

The aCue Consulting team comprising of Kaare Long, Adam Bajan (the guy wearing the sign in their very first video) and Carrice Wong, the ‘Say Hi To A Stranger’ team have been nothing but busy, busy, busy with coverage and interviews from all around, including their segment on The Rush with Fiona Forbes.

Bringing together several businesses in Vancouver, who hopped on in support of the ‘Say Hi To A Stranger’ campaign, I figured I would join in on the fun and see what went on during the weekend long campaign where businesses like Trafiq Café offered free coffee and pastries and the Portside Pub offered free beers to anyone who walked in with the code word ‘SayHiToAStranger’.

If you haven’t caught their first video, check it out on Vancity Buzz.

Catch this video interview with Kaare Long and Carrice Wong to hear their experiences working in the campaign, and the reactions they’ve received from people on the street.

Also, if you want to be more actively involved in this campaign, bigger things are expected from this dynamic team and you can contact them on their website at www.acue.ca.

So ladies and gents, stretch out a hand and say hi! #sayhitoastranger
