Say Hey: There's a new breakfast sandwich in town!

Aug 18 2017, 11:55 pm

Chinatown’s charming Say Hey Cafe will start to say good morning with a fresh new breakfast program.

Kicking off first thing in the morning on Monday, August 21, Say Hey has come up with a new breakfast sandwich, and has brought on some tasty Elysian coffee, and will open earlier daily to get your day going right.

Say Hey’s given us the lowdown on the new AM eats:

The Breakfast sandwich will be served up on Say Hey’s signature “sesames all over” hoagie, but baked as a circular bun, toasted with melted cheddar cheese, a house made Breakfast sausage patty, soft poached egg, arugula, Maple – Tabasco aioli with Hickory sticks, tomato chutney and finished with parmesan.

Pair it with fresh-brewed Elysian coffee (right now it’s a bean from Guatemala), and you will be ready to face your day after a visit to this Pender Street sandwich shop.

For breakfast patrons, Say Hey is rolling back their hours, and will now be open 8 am to 4 pm. And, yes, once lunch time rolls around, you’ll want to hit them up for their rock star vegetarian sandwich, or the mighty meatball (among others).
