There are a lot of food and beverage festivals scheduled for the next little while. There is the popular Hot Chocolate Festival, the new and improved Poutine Festival and of course Street Food City, which is part of the overall Dine Out Vancouver 2013 festival. Now you can add the Oyama Choucroute/Sauerkraut sausage festival.
The annual Sauerkraut Festival feature’s the delicious Alsatian style sauerkraut, fully cooked and all you need to do is heat it up. Along with this they will make a cornucopia of fresh sausages, smoked sausages and meats to serve alongside the sauerkraut.
If that isn’t enough you can add some beer and wine to the equation from Liberty Wines and Granville Island Brewery.
