Sauder Business Club of Vancouver: Entrepreneurship Conference

Dec 19 2017, 2:19 pm

Sauder has produced some fantastic entrepreneurs that we have recently featured, ranging from a variety of ventures in industries such as mobile gaming, virtual hiring, and advanced lending. For those looking to dip their feet into the world of entrepreneurship for the first time or aiming to take their venture to the next level, there is something to look forward to at the end of October besides picking out a costume for Halloween. On October 27 2012, the Sauder Business Club of Vancouver is pleased to present the 1st Annual Entrepreneurship Conference.

This full day conference will provide you with the know-how to bring you one step closer to achieving your goals.

The conference will encompass a plenary session that provides a high-level overview of entrepreneurship which focuses on the essential components, common errors, and the importance of a well-written business plan. This will be followed by break-out sessions that provide an interactive environment on topics such as:

  • legal issues
  • raising capital
  • social entrepreneurship
  • recruitment
  • brand recognition
  • business expansion

In addition to the influential CEO’s, partners, and associates who will be presenting, the conference will end with a powerful keynote presentation from Peter Legge, Chairman and CEO of Canada Wide Media Limited, who will share his struggles with and journey in building a successful business.

Attendees will walk away from the conference with real knowledge shared by industry professionals as well as a chance to network with other like-minded innovators in the small business sector.
