Vancouver’s Santacon is coming back for another year on Saturday, December 12, so dust off the red and white costume for another weird, festive flash mob.

SantaCon first started in San Francisco in 1994. Since then, it’s expanded to several other cities and is now in celebrating its 21st anniversary.
The premise is simple: dress up as Santa, meet in a specific location and go on a festive pub crawl with hundreds of other people dressed just like you. You don’t have to replicate Santa’s likeness exactly, but you need more than a Santa hat, and everything needs to be red.
This year’s SantaCon starts at noon, but the location is being kept top secret for now – monitor the Facebook page to find out where it’ll be.
