More than 300,000 spectators are expected to be on hand as the 9th Annual Rogers Santa Claus parade celebrates the start of the holiday season with more than 60 marching bands, choirs, festive floats, and community groups.
The Grand Marshals of the 2012 Rogers Santa Claus Parade are Canadian Olympians and Paralympians, who competed at the 2012 Summer Games in London.
Spectators are asked to celebrate the spirit of giving by bringing a dollar or a
non-perishable food donation for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society.
More parade details can be found online at www.rogerssantaclausparade.com
Note: For road access while the parade is in progress, reporters and cameras will be required to display parade media identification. Call Greg Descantes to pick up a media badge and lanyard onsite.
