Richmond Devils to host 3rd Annual Samantha Wong Memorial Hockey Game

Proceeds go to support BC Lupus Society in memory of Samantha Wong.

On Saturday, March 30th, 2013, the Richmond Devils Senior A Hockey Club will compete against the Richmond Ravens Midget AA hockey team at Minoru Arena in Richmond at 5:15-6:45pm. Everyone is invited to support the Richmond Devils and Live for Sammi in memory of Samantha Wong, who was a vital member of the Devils coaching staff that lost her life due to complications of her lupus condition.

This is a free event: 50/50, silent auction, and raffle prizes will be available throughout the concourse to help raise funds for the BC Lupus Society. This will include Vancouver Canucks tickets, replica jerseys, restaurant certificates, and various gift baskets. All proceeds will directly benefit the BC Lupus Society, and in particular, their Newly Diagnosed Patient program.

Live for Sammi is a charitable cause that started with family and friends of Samantha Wong. In collaboration with the BC Lupus Society, their objective is to raise awareness about the life threatening disease of lupus and to help those who are currently suffering from the disease.
