Everything you can eat at Vancouver's Sakura Days Japan Fair this April

Holy okonomiyaki, there’s a food event this month you’ve got to be at.
The 10th annual Sakura Days Japan Fair is one of the biggest events in April, celebrating the cherry blossom and the spring season in our city.

Taking place on April 13 and 14 at Vancouver’s VanDusen Botanical Garden, this event offers attendees amazing spectacles, live performances celebrating, and all things Japanese culture.

We are pumped to share the list of eats and drinks that people will be able to indulge in while at the fair.
Here is everything you can eat at Vancouver’s Sakura Days Japan Fair 2019.
- Artisan SakeMaker at Granville Island: Kombucha, amazake, ice cream, apple yuzu juice, sake kasu
- Benkei: Ramen (shoyu, shio, miso, spicy miso)
- Gyoza King: Riceburger, gyoza, mochi, soufflé pancake
- Hatchan Takoyaki: Takoyaki
- JAPADOG: Japanese specialty hot dogs, shaked fries, poutines, yakisoba, deep-fried ice cream, pop, chips
- Japanese Crepe SASUKE: Japanese-style crepes (strawberry, banana, half and half, apple cinnamon, Japanese luxury)
- Jeggs: Okonomiyaki, green tea
- Koyuki Sapporo Ramen: Yakisoba, karaage, takoyaki, onigiri (rice balls)
- Potato San: Deep-fried spiral potatoes (miso garlic, sweet miso, spicy miso)
- Teriyaki Boys: Teriyaki rice bowl (chicken, beef, tofu), yakisoba
- Tsujiri Chaho: Matcha Latte, O Matcha Parfait, Yuzu O-Matcha, Yuzu Hojicha, O-Matcha Ice Blended, Matcha Soba
- Vancouver Mikoshi Sakurakai Society: Sakura-mochi with red bean paste, Japanese curry, green tea
- Wakwak Burger: Burgers (teriyaki, cheese teriyaki, okonomi, regular, cheese, chickencutlet), fries, “okopote”, Korean-style cheese corndogs.
- Windbell: Jaga butter (steamed potatoes with butter)
- Zakkushi: Yakitori-don (ricebowl), yakitori(charcoal grilled teriyaki chicken skewers), tebasaki karaage (chicken wings)

In addition to the outdoor food vendors listed above, foodies can enjoy a handful of eats inside the Exhibitor Hall as well, such as Coconama Chocolates, Baker & Table, Kanadell Bakery, Tsuen Tea, TeaLani, Tonarigumi, and VanKoji Foods.
