As more destinations announce how they plan to welcome travellers in summer 2020 and beyond, it’s safe to say we’re all dreaming of our next exotic vacation.
Glorious sunshine, mouthwatering food, and a chilled glass of rosé fit into this vision perfectly. And while social distancing measures will be in place for the foreseeable future, a local restaurant wants to help you start planning your next trip abroad (once it’s safe to do so).
JOEY Restaurants and Côte des Roses have come together to send two lucky rosé-drinkers to the Mediterranean so they can say cheers in the lap of luxury.
The brands are partnering all summer long to celebrate a return to restaurants and the start of patio season. As of now, you can enjoy a glass of Côte des Roses vino at JOEY alongside perfectly paired dishes like the yellowfin tuna salad or seared salmon sushi.
Hailing from faraway Narbonne, which sits on the southern coast of France, Côte des Roses was named the number one selling rose in the US and number two in Canada this year. With notes of rose, citrus, and grapefruit in every bottle, the winemaker’s goal is to celebrate the “Art de Vivre Mediterranean.”
Entering the contest means you’ll have a chance to win a trip for two to the South of France in 2021 to visit the birthplace of Côte des Roses — and be wine and dined in classic French style.
The contest is launching on June 25, and participating is simple. All you have to do is take a photo of yourself anywhere with your bottle of Côte des Roses, tag and follow @JOEYrestaurants and @thecotedesroses, and use the hashtag #JOEYxCoteDesRoses. Et voila, you’re entered to win! The contest closes on August 27 and the lucky winner will be announced on August 30.
In addition to the main prize, weekly participants will also have the chance to win a five-course meal for four and a magnum of Cotê des Roses Rosé.
Every week on Wine Down Wednesday, the brands will announce who had the most creative shot of the week and award them the prize. With eight chances to win, you’ll have all summer long to snap and submit a pic.
To make this easier, JOEY is offering 10% off all pick-up orders or free delivery via DoorDash. So whether you’re sipping on the JOEY patio or having a bottle delivered to enjoy in your own backyard, you’ve got options.
Throughout the pandemic, JOEY has pivoted repeatedly to make things easy for would-be diners, either by offering DIY cocktail kits, meal kits, or grocery packages. Now, all JOEY locations are open and available for reservations.
