A shocking rollover crash in Vancouver on Friday afternoon is impacting afternoon traffic near Science World.
A white SUV ended up on its roof at the entrance and exit to the parking lot at the corner of Quebec Street and National Avenue.
Multiple fire trucks and Vancouver Police Department vehicles attended the scene, which left passersby stunned by the sight.

Several cyclists and pedestrians also stopped to take photos of the scene, which caused traffic delays on Quebec Street near Science World.
VPD officers also asked passersby if they had seen the accident, with one driver stopping to offer dashcam footage for the investigation.

VPD set up traffic detours on Pacific Boulevard, diverting southbound traffic onto Quebec Street.
Traffic was also slow heading south on Quebec Street as vehicles slowed down to see the aftermath of the Vancouver crash.
Give yourself extra time if you are driving through the accident area this afternoon on your commute.
Traffic is also delayed this week due to temporary 24-hour road closures on Oak Street between West 10th and West 12th Avenues that started on Thursday, Sept. 10.
The round-the-clock closures are to facilitate crane activity for Vancouver Coastal Health’s Vancouver General Hospital Operating Room Renewal Project.

Oak Street will be fully closed to vehicle traffic in both directions until Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Both West 10th Avenue and West 12th Avenue will stay open during the construction phase, but there may be intermittent road closures.
“Those travelling through the area should expect delays,” said the City of Vancouver in a release. Access to residences, businesses, and health services in the area will also be maintained.
“If you are visiting Vancouver General Hospital or other facilities within the 10th Avenue health precinct, please plan an alternate route and allow extra travel time.”
