
If you think you saw Santa Claus sliding through downtown on his sleigh this past weekend, you’re not alone. The Rogers Santa Claus Parade kicked off Sunday afternoon to the delight of thousands of Vancouverites.

Every year, the Rogers Santa Claus Parade raises money and collects donations for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. Since the parade’s inception in 2004, the event has raised $141,800 and collected 75,400 pounds of food for needy people in Metro Vancouver.
