Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour 2017 kicks off in Vancouver this January

The Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour kicks off this January, offering the ultimate hockey fan experience in communities across Canada, starting with Vancouver.

The free festival will take place at Larwill Park from noon on Saturday, January 14, and will feature family-friendly programming and activities all weekend long.

Celebrate Canada’s game by picking up a virtual autograph inside the Rogers Tent, meet your favourite NHL Alumni in the Scotiabank Community Locker Room, test your skills in the Chrysler Pacifica Stow N Go Challenge, and cheer for your local minor hockey teams in the Cheer Like Never Before contest.

There will also be an outdoor viewing party of Vancouver Canucks vs. New Jersey Devils on Sportsnet.

During Rogers Hometown Hockey, Scotiabank will donate a total of $15,000 to Vancouver community hockey. The Vancouver Thunderbirds Association and the Killarney Girls Ice Hockey Association will each receive $7,500 as well.
