Rockin River Music Festival is going to Merritt for 2015. It will be jampacked with 20+ bands, 2 stages and 4 days of amazing country music.
Headliners include Rascal Flatts, Terri Clark, Gord Bamford, The Road Hammers with more artists to be announced leading up to the festival.
Attendance has hit as high as 26,000 over three days in the past in Mission so the move to Merritt is both for growth and strategic. Merritt falls in the heart of BC and is known as the Country Music Capital of Canada.
The show grounds have well established facilities, ample parking and picturesque surroundings. Rockin River has the entire track facility, so they’ll have more room, more parking, more concessions, more activities and more camping for everyone attending.
The new stage is 154 feet in length and has a unique feature known as a stage thrust that allows the artists to walk out into the crowds. The thrust is 54 feet in length, 5 feet high and 8 feet wide, and extends down from centre stage out into the audience.
