Throughout July and August, Robson Street is hosting Pop-Up Picnic, a fun and delicious promotion to get people outside to enjoy the sun, fresh air and great food.
Pop-Up Picnic features eight Robson Street restaurants that have put together quick, tasty and well-priced menu options for people to choose from, including sushi, tacos, burgers, salads and more. Every picnic lunch includes a free Robson tumbler, while supplies last.
Participating restaurants include ABODE, AllStar Wings & Ribs, Cactus Club, Café Crepe, Earls, Ebisu, Milestones and Steamrollers. And if you’re looking for a spot to dine outside, check out Urban Pasture in front of Café Crepe, Urban Reef at 800 block Robson, or the newly created Pop-Up Picnic area at 1100 Robson. Detailed menus can be found at robsonstreet.ca.
“Pop-Up Picnic embraces the best aspects of summer: fresh air, sun, relaxation, and indulging in great food and people watching,” says Teri Smith, Executive Director of the Robson Street Business Association, “and where better to enjoy them than on Robson Street.”
It’s great seeing more outdoor options being presented in Vancouver. A city with such natural beauty, should encourage public gathering in mutliple spots and not just the defacto meeting spots.
