A major NYE public countdown celebration to midnight won’t return to Vancouver until next year, but there will still be a small, early countdown event at Robson Square to ring in 2014.
Grab your mittens, jacket and skates and bring the whole family down to the Robson Square Ice Rink this New Year’s Eve for an early countdown celebration.
The Robson Square Ice Rink will host its fifth annual free family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration in downtown Vancouver. This year’s festivities will include live music, sugar cookie decorating, DJs and an early countdown with noise makers and glow sticks and of course free skating.
The ice rink will be open on New Year’s Eve from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. New Year celebration festivities kicks off at 4 p.m. with the early countdown at 7:30 p.m.
