Rize Alliance is offering local entrepreneurs the opportunity to access central Mount Pleasant retail space free of charge as a part of a community initiative to celebrate and support local business.
Businesses with a unique product and sound business plan may qualify to use this retail space to showcase and sell their product amongst other local entrepreneurs. All types of business owners qualify, from artists to foodies to clothing designers.
The first stage requires applicants to fill out a detailed form which can be found online at www.rize.ca
Completed applications are due by February 15th, 2011 with the pop-up retail space set to open in March.
Businesses that make it through the initial application stage will then present their business ideas to a panel of judges. This panel will include Mount Pleasant community members and Rize Alliance team members.
Successful applicants will qualify to use Rize Alliance’s retail space free of charge to market and sell their products for a one month period.
This initiative is one of several community programs planned for the Rize House community space at Broadway and Kingsway.
