A few weeks back we wrote that the Ridge Theatre and the adjacent bowling alley will be seeing the wrecking ball real soon. The redevelopment proposal calls for a five storey residential tower with a retail food store at the base. Currently, there are no plans to retain the theatre or bowling alley. A great loss for the neighbourhood. Here are a few photos from the proposal by Cressey (not yet approved). It’s a decent design, I do like the giant “Ridge” sign at the top.
