Rick Mercer takes a seaplane ride in beautiful B.C. (VIDEO)

CBC personality Rick Mercer takes to the skies above beautiful British Columbia with a seaplane ride and some frolicking in Phantom Lake.

Fasten your seatbelts, it’s a corny ride on Harbour Air with Mercer as co-pilot. Mercer hops aboard a flight from Vancouver and flies over some indisputably breathtaking scenery as they wing their way to Phantom Lake.

If you can brave Mercer hamming it up in his swim trunks in the chilly waters, you’ll see him and the pilot playing by the lake, including basking in the rays upon, then diving off the seaplane’s wings. Watch it on mute, and enjoy the turquoise waters and lush topography of our gorgeous province.
