New parody video finds Richmond's Worst Driver (VIDEO)

A new parody video of “Canada’s Worst Driver” by local YouTubers Life Of Bri plays on the stereotype that Richmond is full of terrible drivers. A case in point: This past spring, two young Richmond drivers drove their luxury vehicles – a 2015 Ford Mustang and 2014 Infinity Q50 – off Clover Point in Victoria.

The two-minute-long video, disguised as a trailer for a ‘Richmond’s Worst Driver’ competition, features eight of the “most reckless drivers” from the streets of Richmond and places them through a make-shift driving course in the parking lot of a business park.

It begins with drivers speeding through the parking lot and failing to avoid orange traffic pylons and walls of empty cardboard boxes, despite the clearances provided. The vehicle of choice is naturally a Mercedes.

The video even includes face visors, bodyshop visits and Lamborghini with N signs, plus cameos from renown local YouTube stars Peter Chao and LeendaDProductions.

Life Of Bri has created a number of viral Asian-themed parody videos such last year’s Ultra Cheap Asian Boys of Vancouver, a parody of the Ultra Rich Asian Girls of Vancouver reality television show, and February 2015’s Chinese New Year parody rap video: Red Pockets.
