Two people dead in Richmond jet ski accident

Two people are confirmed to be dead following a jet ski accident on the Fraser River in Richmond on Thursday evening.

The incident occurred at approximately 9 p.m. when the local Coast Guard was called in to respond to the scene. The hovercraft was deployed and two people were pulled out of the water. According to Breakfast Television, both people on the jet ski are dead.

Few details on the nature and exact location of the incident are available at this time. An investigation is pending.
