Earlier this afternoon, BC Place played host to the 2014 Tim Horton’s Heritage Classic between the Vancouver Canucks and the Ottawa Senators.
While ticket sales weren’t through the roof, the hardcore fans that wanted to be a part of history – the biggest hockey game in the city’s history – warmly welcomed the mid-afternoon affair.
However, the roof was closed at BC Place given the downpour outside. The Canucks spoiled a 2-0 lead and wound up losing 4-2 to the Ottawa Senators.
