Police in Richmond issued a public plea late this evening for a 10-year-old girl who has not been seen since this morning.

Reina Parkes-Coombs was last seen at 8:30 am before being dropped off at her elementary school in southwest Richmond. Her mother reported her missing just after 6 pm Thursday.

According to a release, Reina is described as a black female who is 4’4″ tall with a skinny build, brown eyes, and dark braided hair. She was last seen wearing black skinny pants, a black t-shirt, long puffy black jacket with a hood, beige boots with fur, and carrying a light blue backpack with a floral pattern.

“Your family and the police are very concerned about you,” said Richmond RCMP Corporal Hwang in a statement. “Please contact us and let us know that you are okay.”

Anyone who has seen Reina or has information on her whereabouts is urged to contact 9-1-1 immediately.
