Master barber and shop manager Amar Al-Khlil assures his loyal clients that Regal Club will not morph into a huge gym-style club. “We are now and will always remain a boutique-style club with an unpretentious atmosphere, and personal touch,” adds Al-Khlil.

The club would mean nothing without top-notch barbers adept in the art of straight-razor shaving, a limited commodity in Vancouver where most of the local training is focused on unisex hairstyling. Not surprisingly then Regal Barbers is hunting for the right-fit barbers from other countries.

“We will do what it takes to staff the club with professionals who have mastered the art of men’s grooming and know how to identify the unique needs of each client,” says Khoshaba.
