Stories of Ziggy Stardust are coming to the Space Centre

Nov 17 2016, 2:11 am

Music inspires stories.

On November 17, Rain City Chronicles and Here There are teaming up to bring you the stories inspired by David Bowie’s legendary album, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.

The event will feature local story-tellers who will weave true tales sparked by Bowie’s album- everything from moon-age daydreams to meeting the Starman himself. It’s part of a series of similar nights called the Record Club.

The night will begin with a happy hour listening party at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre, giving participants a chance to explore the Space Centre and get into the Ziggy Stardust mindset. Then, it will move into the Planetarium Star Theatre for live storytelling and a musical act by Revered.

The event is for people 19 and over and tickets are available online. Beer and wine will be available for purchase before the show.
