Vancouver needs Uber so badly that even a former Real Housewives star is chiming in…with a musical number.

Mary Zilba of the Real Housewives of Vancouver sang a song with three other musicians in the hopes that they can “put the Uber in Vancouver” (to make VancUBER – get it?).

According to a Facebook post by musician Rosemary Siemens, the quad sang the song at an event to make their case for introducing the ride sharing service to Vancouver and this was their practice session.

Uber has faced great opposition from the province and the Taxi Association, although Transportation Minister Todd Stone seems to be lightening up a little on the issue.

Nonetheless, the group makes some striking points via their lyrics.

“On a cold and rainy night, I hailed a cab, and it pulled out of sight,” sings Zilba. “Will someone stop and please take me home,” Siemens chimes in.

“There must be a way to get me home – I really need an Uber,” sing all members of the group in unison.

Check it out below. Maybe this song will be the key that unlocks Uber in Vancouver (probably not).
