I opted for PC Cheddar Cheese Jalapeno Beef Burgers and PC Plant-Based The Black Bean Veggie Burgers. 

My partner gave the Veggie Burgers a vegetarian stamp of approval, while my friends and I couldn’t get enough of the Cheddar Jalapeno Beef Burgers. What’s summer without a little kick, after all? Meanwhile, the kiddos filled up on plain burger buns, because I made the rookie mistake of leaving them within arm’s reach of two toddlers. Lesson learned.

Pro tip: While you can’t go wrong with classic PC Tomato Ketchup, the PC Roasted Red Pepper Squeeze and Drizzle Spread is an easy way to take your burgers to the next level. It was an all-around hit at this barbecue.

I figured I oughta sneak some vegetables into our meal, and the PC Big Smash Chopped Salad Kit was an easy and tasty way to do just that. It’s a salad that tastes like a burger, complete with crispy fried pickles and onions, brioche-style croutons, and tangy Big Smash dressing. It came together in seconds and was way easier (and more affordable) than buying individual ingredients to make a salad from scratch.

And for dessert, we had the ultimate frozen treats:  PC Fruit Bars and PC Loads Of Nanaimo Bar ice cream! These were a big hit with both the grown-ups and kids.
