RCAF Snowbirds perform Vancouver flyover (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds (431 Air Demonstration Squadron) surprised Vancouverites today by buzzing downtown with a flyover.

The military display team put on a show of synchronized flying, giving locals a sneak peek of what they can expect when they take to the skies at the Abbotsford International Airshow this weekend.

Luckily fleet-fingered cellphone users were on hand to capture the spectacle. Take a look below for some of the best photos and videos from social media.
