Raincouver is definitely living up to its nickname as the city continues to be drenched by a prolonged period of rain.
Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has warned that Metro Vancouver could see total rainfall amounts of up to 80 mm to start the week. It comes after an atmospheric river soaked the region throughout the weekend.
Keep your umbrellas and waterproof jackets handy because the rainy weather forecast continues for the entire week.

ECCC is also alerting folks that localized flooding is a possibility in low-lying areas.
“If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance,” they added.
On the positive side, temperatures continue to climb in Vancouver, with Tuesday expected to reach a high of 19°C along with a UV index of three or moderate.
Daytime temperatures will stay in the double digits until at least Sunday, though overnight lows can drop as low as 5°C on Friday and Saturday.
